The Port Isabel Chamber of Commerce has announced the winners of their 2nd Annual Halloween Window Decorating Contest.
Judging for the event took place Tuesday, Oct. 23rd and participants were judged on creativity, theme and special effects.First Place winner was The Light House Lighting Center and the store will receive a $100 cash prize. Second Place winner, Wags Resale Shop, receives a $75 cash prize.Third Place winner is Coastal Mail and the recipient of a $50 cash prize.
“We would like to congratulate all of the participants in the contest,” said Board member Linda Garrett, who organized the event. “We would also like to thank Quik Stop for their generous donation of the cash prizes.”
Other businesses competing in the event included: “MyFavorite Place” Mini Mall; Port Isabel Dental; Marcello’s; Port Isabel Health Clinic; and Ben’s Liquors.
